Areas of interest of the journal include disease epidemiology, population health, health equity, environmental and occupational health, health policy, reproductive, maternal and child health, oral health, mental health and social determinants of health. In order to engage the communities in open discussion, the journal publishes a unique set of high-impact content including Research, Systematic Reviews, Registered Reports, as well as Reviews, Comments, Forums, Perspectives and Matters Arising.
